Winning the IMG Fashion Week Competition, this project challenged the boundaries of circular design by transforming discarded, high-performance spikes into a avant-garde capsule collection. By meticulously deconstructing retired racing footwear, I repurposed the technical textiles, structural TPU overlays, and signature geometries of the original silhouettes into wearable garments. The result is a fusion of athletic heritage and high-fashion innovation, demonstrating how the byproduct of competitive sport can be elevated into a new, sustainable aesthetic. This project was an exploration of structured construction, drapery, and industrial sewing and surging.
